FORMER PRESIDENT JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA: Makes fun of Akufo-Addo's government

John Mahama on his ”Thank You Tour” in the central, after speaking to the chiefs and elders of Cape Coast had a radio interview on Cape 93.3 FM.
During the interview, John Mahama has sent the Akufo Addo government into the gutters of what he describes as things are not going in the right direction”.

John Mahama asked the host if he can see things are going well in Ghana, he tells the host “you yourself you can tell how things are going”
John Mahama added, that was why he has been telling the then opposition candidate Nana Addo that, he has never sat on the presidential sit before to know what it entails. So they don’t have the experience to be saying all they were saying then in opposition, and now that they are sitting on it, see how things have been. The country is not going in the right direction, John Mahama added.

He mocks the Nana Addo government that, they have some famous sayings in opposition such as; they are not going to borrow any money, ”we are sitting on money yet still we are hungry”, but when they are in power, they have ballooned the debt stock to 332.4 billion.

The former president went further to say, by the time he left office in 2016, a bag of cement was 27 cedis, but how much is it now? John Mahama asks the host, he went further to say that by the time he left office a bag of maize was 100 Ghana cedis but now it is 400 Ghana cedis.
